General Board Elections

Interested in being considered for a vacancy on the MQHA Board of Directors? Email a brief bio/resume and a photo to the mqha office.

Requirements:

Must be a MI resident and a current member of MQHA
2 or 3 year terms – depending on current year vacancies
10 monthly meeting per year, with a mix of zoom and in person

Each fall, the Association will seek current members to fill vacancies created by a Director term ending. If you are interested in running for a position on the Board, look for information on the website, or reach out to the MQHA office. There are twelve Director seats and Director terms are either three year, or two year, depending on the vacancies created because of a rotation. You will be asked to submit a photo and a short biography explaining who you are and why you would like to be considered for a position on the board. The ballots will be made available to the membership, and the results of the election will be announced at the Annual Membership Meeting held during the Convention.

Youth Board Elections

Each fall, the Youth Association will seek current youth members to fill its Board of Directors. The Youth Board can consist of twelve to fifteen youth members and the director term is one year. If a youth is interested in running for a position on the Youth Board, look for information on the website, reach out to one of the youth advisors or to the MQHA office. You will be asked to submit a photo and a short biography explaining who you are and why you would like to be considered for a position on the board. The ballots will be made available to the youth membership, and the results of the election will be announced during the Youth Meeting held during the Convention.
