About
This show runs concurrently with The Great Lakes Classic
Each September, the Michigan Quarter Horse Association holds the MQHA $100K Futurity which is a combination of MQHA and NSBA Futurity classes which are open to anyone and a series of closed Stallion Service Sale classes which are available to those who participate in the MQHA Stallion auction (either Mare and Stallion Owner).
The event is held at the Farm Bureau Pavilion at MSU in East Lansing, MI. The Futurity classes are open to any breed of horse recognized by the NSBA. The SSA weanling, yearling longe lines, two-year old western pleasure and three-year old hunter under saddle and western pleasure classes are available to those entries that are either Mare Owner entries (the resulting foal from a Michigan SSA breeding purchase) or Stallion Owner entries which are entries designated by the Stallion Owner who donated the breeding. This event also boasts six AQHA approved shows that nicely complement the Futurity format.
