Youth Scrapbook - HELP!!
Hi! We are trying to re-make the scrapbook that was destroyed years ago in a fire for the AQHA Yth World Show and are in need of pictures from the past for the history sections of the book. Would any of you have any that you could send or email us to use???? We need these quite soon and would really appreciate your help or a referral of someone that might be able to help us with this. These are content areas that we are looking for:
a. History of the affiliate Youth Assocn. Anyone have early pics of yth assoc members? Who was the first yth president? pics of first yth board?
b. Fund-Raising Activities
c. Membership Drive Activities
d. Fun and Fellowship
e. AQHYA Participation
Anyone who can give us information on or pics of the history of the Youth Association would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much.

HIGHWAY TRAVEL SURROUNDING THE MSU PAVILION IS A MESS.
The ramp to NB US-127 is closed from WB I-96. From WB I-96 you HAVE to exit at Okemos Rd, continue WB on Jolly, then right (N) on College Road to come in to the backside of the pavilion. If you stay on WB I-96 by mistake, the detour is very long.
The Dunkel/Jolly Road exit bridge will be closed for construction all summer beginning May 11th.
Additionally, there is construction on SB US-127 from 496 to I-96, involving the Jolly Road exit area. To avoid long delays, I'd strongly recommend people exit on Trowbridge and turn right at the Harrison Rd. light just before campus. Take Harrison S until it dead ends on Forest Rd. and then left to the back entrance of the pavilion.
In Addition...
Please be aware that construction has begun along US-127/I-496 between
I-96 north to just south of Trowbridge Road. Also, improvements are
being made to I-96 from Lansing Road to College Road, just east of
US-127. For more information and alternate routes click on the “Major
Projects Under Construction” link on the Michigan Department of
Transportation Web site at http://www.michigan.gov/mdot.

Planning to show in Canada? Effective, June 1, 2009 you must have a PASSPORT to cross the Border into CANADA. It can take several weeks to get a passport, so be certain to apply NOW if you do not already have a passport. And also make sure you have your passport on your list of things to bring to the show.
