Equine Connection Clinic Schedule

Friday, January 30

  • 6:30 pm Horse Judging Clinic

Saturday, January 31

  • 8:30 am Horse Judging Contest – ($15 pre-registered or $20 at the door.)
  • 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm Classroom Clinics – topics and exact times to be announced. Free of charge.
  • 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm Arena Clinic – Showmanship Level 1, with AQHA Professional Horseman, Ryan Cottingim.  Participation in the clinic is limited to 12 and cost is $50. 
  • Arena audit charge is $15 per day pre-registered or $20 at the door for both Saturday arena sessions.    
  • 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm Arena Clinic – Horsemanship Level 1, with AQHA Professional Horseman, Ryan Cottingim. Participation in the clinic is limited to 12 and cost is $50.        

Sunday, February 1

  • 8:00 am to 10:00 am Arena Clinic – Showmanship Level 2, with AQHA Professional Horseman, Ryan Cottingim.  Participation in the clinic is limited to 12 and the cost is $50.   
  • Audit charge is $15 per day pre-registered or $20 at the door for all three Sunday arena sessions.    
  • 9:00 am to noon – Hippology Contest $15 pre-registered or $20 at the door
  • 11 am to 1:00 pm Arena Clinic Horsemanship Level 2, with AQHA Professional Horseman, Ryan Cottingim. Participation in the clinic is limited to 12 and the cost is $50.
  • 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm Trail Clinic, with AQHA Professional Horseman, Ryan Cottingim. Participation in the clinic is limited to 12 and the cost is $50.

Other Details:

  • Pre-registration is offered and encouraged.  
  •  Arena clinics with Ryan Cottingim are limited to 12 per session. Saturday clinics are $50 each or both for $90. 
    Sunday clinics are $50 each or $125 for all three.
  • 4H Clubs with more than 5 attending either day receive a $5 per person discount if pre-registered under their 4H Club.
  • Pre-registration ends on January 19. Register by Dec. 23 to ensure you receive our Equine Connection Weekend T-shirt.
